Quite fun and interesting. The game uses assets from other games. A pretty good way to get smacked with a copyright strike if ever I've heard of it. Some from World of Warcraft; e.g. Morgana La Fey being the most obvious. Some from games such as Champions of Norath or Baldur's Gate, and the Magmasaur just a recolored Barroth from Monster Hunter.. Very unique art style, reminds me of old school evil dead army of darkness. Gameplay is pretty good too although I feel beacon captures and limited cards per deck is kind of not that fun but its still a cool game and worth a try. There are also quite a bit of bugs though, hopefully they get fixed.Edit of review. It appears the game is abandonware, and the developer has done this with numerous games in the past. putting up games and not finishing them. Unfortunate, because he has talent, he just needs to finish his projects. But as it stands, I would avoid spending money on games he develops for this very reason.. Although the price could seem a bit high this game really deserves a chance. There's a lot of passion and "care" profused . Visuals and music are fine, the gameplay is solid , easy but quite deep too. The developper always replies in the forum, a lot of new stuff is on the way. Single player is interesting with user-custom campaigns already available in the workshop. Of course, multiplayer seems the logic outlet for the game, success will depends on custom's foresight about this little jem.. Loved the potenial of this game. The only problem, is that the dev seems to have walked away from it. So what you see is all it's every going to be. Pity (edit) Ok, the Dev just released a new patch so it's looking like I was wrong about him walking away.Which I'm very happy about. So I'll change my review to a positive on the announcement that there are more characters coming.. I am a fan of tabletop tactics games and they take up too much time, space, and money to be a viable thing in my life. This game is a fantastic alternative and one of things I am loving most about this is that it is so classic. The game system is great and would hold up well 20 years ago or 20 years in the future. Three thumbs up. Also, I can't wait to earn more currency in game so I can keep buying packs of cards!. I like this game alot! I think it has what I have been looking for in a tabletop hybrid. Graphics are good ,gameplay is sound and i found it challenging enough to keep me interested. It does have a few bugs to work out but lets remember it isn't an Alpha release yet. I think the creator is heading in the right direction with this one.
